Raise a reader

children are made readersMom and Dad – you are the single most important influence on raising a great reader.  Take time, slow down, be less ‘productive’ and invest in some book time with your kids.  You’ll be glad you did!

The Fire of Literacy

Yes yes yes yes yes!

Keeping on keeping on

ImageIt’s that time of year when it’s tough to keep on keeping on.  The sun is shining, and the birds are beckoning us all to come outside and join them!   Kids and teachers (and librarians:) are working extra hard to stay focused and motivated to keep on keeping on so that we can all finish well.  So while recesses and before and after school all provide us with the much needed fresh air breaks we need….we are all still keeping on keeping on at Cayley School!
