Today I hope

joy to the world

Today I hope you will find time to nestle into a good book.  Familiar, new, trite, important…doesn’t matter.  Whenever you you take time, make time, to read  – that one simple act can take an ordinary day (and this isn’t an ordinary day for many…but it is for some) and turn it into a day of discovery and wonder and joy.   Today – I am going to read that wonderful telling of the birth of Jesus from Luke Chapter 2 in The Message.  Merry Christmas.  Joy to the World.

J.S. Wood Library. My home away from home when I was a child. Summer Reading Programs, Madeline L’Engel and L.M. Montgomery made my simple little life rich and magical. Hope you find yourself a literary home away from home this year.
